| On Thursday, February 26, 2009, I will come face-to-face with the reality of the little effort I have put to have in place enough structures to justify why a whole former Vice-President of Nigeria: Atiku Abubakar, several sports legends, a large army of the Nigerian sports and education media, will converge in a little unknown village to celebrate the birth of my legacy to Nigeria! After the official ceremonies are over the public is welcome to stop over when they are in the vicinity of Abeokuta and see what God is helping to put on ground to support Government’s effort to empower the youths of Nigeria through an unbeatable combination of education and sports! So, Wasimi Orile will make history and welcome some of Nigeria’s greatest sports legends from all generations – Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Chioma Ajunwa, Falilat Ogunkoya-Omotayo, Bruce Ijirigho, Nduka Odizor, Emmanuel Amuneke, Etim Esin, Adokie Amiesimaka, Christain Chukwu, Victor Ikpeba, and so on! |
